Covid Care Centre for Police Personnel was inaugurated at St Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangalore on 14th May 2020. Deputy Commissioner of DK, Sri KV Rajendra inaugurated the centre. Police Commissioner and officials of Police Dept and Health dept were present during the program.
Out APX & JAAG past president Mr Anuj Mehta has taken this initiative & whosoever is in need May contact APX/JAAG Chairman Fr Xavier Amalraj, also the Gujarat Province PCA.

The School ( St Xavier’s High School Loyola Hall along with all stakeholders ) is also in forefront reaching out and meeting people's need.

- Supplying food to quarantined people
- Giving psychological councilling
- Meeting people to get over grief and pain and assisting migrants. Financial aid also given as and when need arises
Our secretary Mr Anurag Srivastava and treasurer Mr Sanjay Sharma received an SOS message from a faculty member of primary section seeking immediate financial assistance to undertake a surgery arising out of COVID complications. Both of them responded immediately and put up messages on various batch WA groups, with details of the teachers bank account ,as the time to her for surgery was less than 12 hours, we could not have formalised transactions.
Ex-Campionites responded to this call and in less than 12 hours (overnight) more than 2 lakhs were contributed to the teachers bank account from across the country and globe.Teachers daughter and staff secretary sent across a thank you note for the instant help

As part of their Oxygen Outreach for needy patients, St. Xavier's Loyola - Ahmedabad Parivar are distributing Oxygen Concentrators to needy patients.
Inaugural of COVID CARE CENTER AND ISOLATION CENTRE took place on 19 May 2021 at 9.30 am. We have set up CCC in collaboration with NGOs, alumni and other donors. This facility is only meant for the poor from slums and migrants. Fr Swebert, rector inaugurated the centre by lighting the lamp. This is one of the initiative under BJES.
Team DOX is happy to share that we have donated 11,000 units of stationary (Notebooks & Pencils) to Mr. Chhavi Ranjan IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi as a part of Mission One Million Smiles initiative of Ranchi District Administration. A year that went by , the toughest and most testing one that was and we are still slowly coming to adapt to the new normal even as this dreaded virus is here to stay.
Kudos to Fr Xavier Amalraj ,Principal of the school , Province Coordinator, also chairman of APX & JAAG along with the management , staff , students , alumni/ae and parents for taking this step forward and ensuring a smooth program maintaining Covid protocols & safety measures, this will establish and ensure confidence in all stakeholders & collaborators, upwards and onwards now.

Superior Fr Jerry Sequeria & other Jesuits community members also graced the program , almost a year since such a ‘loyola parivar’ gathering took place on the campus , a productive and meaningful way to start getting back albeit slowly to the new normal taking precautions of course.
