Today is the Defence Investiture Ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bahawan.

All three of the Lt Generals from the batch of 1984 of St. Xavier's High School, Jaipur are being conferred with Param Visihist Seva Medals (PVSM) by the Hon’ble President.

Jesuit Alumnus Mr. S. Shanmugam – JAAI- South-Zone GC-Representative and alumnus St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School Dindugal, Madurai Province, Tamil Nadu has been elected as the president of Tamil Nadu Football Association.

Mr. S. Shanmugam exhibited is wonderful gesture of support for JAAI when we hosed the All India JAAI Alumni football event in St. Xavier College Thumba, Trivandrum, Kerala during 2022 by sponsoring singularly the entire event.

I am sure with Mr. S. Shanmugam’s support we will be able to extent sports as avenue of 
social service not only to the alumni and students but also to society which we have imbibed from the Jesuit educational institutions to give and not to count the cost.

We wish Mr. S. Shanmugam all glory and success in his endeavours as the president of Tamil Nadu Football Association. Best wishes to him and his team.

Celebrating #worldfootballday, APX & St. Xavier’s High School Loyola Hall always support this beautiful game, and not only the school teams ( various age groups and boys & girls ) partake in many tournaments as also support the GSFA tournaments in all ways possible.

Sports is an emotion and integral part of education. Either you win or you learn.

In recent days team APX has come out with some initiatives, like readying mementos be it customised mugs, badges and polos ( new design to be released soon ) or reinforcing the school gym with two treadmills and two gym cycles, facilitating these free of cost which otherwise would have cost some few lacs.
 

Incidentally back in 1997 the Gym was sponsored by committee alumnus. 
Also we redid some parts of internal roads using the alumni/ae’s good offices and saving the institute some lacs again.

For team APX, important is to give and not count the cost and to be a person for others. Be it time, energy and in some instances financial assistance, also professional guidance and assistance in legal and audit scopes and in whatever way possible the team is always on the button and needless to say partaking in all school activites and programs, on and off the campus.
