The Holy Family High School & Jr. College Ex-Students' Association (HyFyXs), Mumbai successfully hosted an interactive vocational guidance session for students and parents of the 10th and 12th grades. The session, which took place on 26th September 2024, was led by renowned career counselor Ms. Shailaja Mulay, who has been guiding Holy Family students for over 22 years.
 
The session commenced with a prayer led by Honorable Fr. Andrew Rodrigues, Principal of Holy Family High School & Jr. College. He offered valuable insights on the importance of vocational guidance and later introduced the esteemed career counselor, Ms. Shailaja Mulay, to the students and parents.

Super League Basketball tournament was held on 29th September 2024 at St Xaviers School, Jaipur.

This Super League basketball tournament is held yearly under the guidance of a past basketball coach Hari Mohan Sir aka BIJLI…. Who was responsible for many basketball players who were captains in St Stephen’s College, Delhi and at one time responsible for Jaipur Xaviers being a power house in basketball. Some alumni like us support this tournament.

The JAAI Central Zone Congress was held at St. Xaviers College, Ranchi on 28th & 29th September 2024. We had a fantastic session and huge takeaways for Alumni Associations. 

The icing on the cake was the fri football match between Team Loyola Alumni and rest of Central Zone. 

Thank you Team AROX, DOX and Alumni of XISS for hosting a wonderful 2 day session.

56 th Eddie Memorial Football Tournament was organised this week by the Paulites of Belgaum worldwide the tournament was inagurated by Mrs Laxmi Hebbalkar minister for child and women development government of Karnataka.

St Paul's won the tournament, for the prize distribution we had the commissioner of police Belgaum and MLA Mr Asif Saith who is our alumni. 26 to teams from under city took part in the tournament.

This is the oldest football tournament running in the city

St Aloysius (Deemed to Be University) organised an Endowment Lecture on Role of Education in National Development on 14th September 2024 at Fr L F Rasquinha Hall, LCRI Block by Prof Anil Sahasrabuddhe, Former Chairman of AICTE, Chairman (NETF).


The speaker delivered profound insights and illuminated the crucial ways in which education shapes the future of our nation. As education is the powerful weapon in nation building, he suggested implementing several best practices in the institutions.

Prof. Anil Sahasrabuddhe was honoured with a special felicitation to recognize his significant contributions to education and national development.

CYCLOTHON 2024. LAA’s flagship event was organised today from Loyola School covering 7 km. The theme for this is year was “Pedal to show Solidarity with Doctors”. More than 600 students from Class 4 to 12 along with Doctors, Alumni office bearers, Teachers and Volunteers participated and cycled to show Solidarity with Doctors. Jai Loyola

The 8th edition of Major H K Sharma Memorial Inter-house debate  was held on 7th September 2024 at St. Xavier’s School, Jaipur.


It was our honour to have Mr Sudhir Raniwala 77 batch, 
Ms Bharati Chaturvedi , and Mr Shreyans Kasliwal 99 batch as the honoured judges. 

It was a pleasure to have President of Xavier’s alumini Mr Luv Shekhawat as the  guest of honor. 

Parimal Kasliwal 85 as usual was standing besides me to see the proceedings through. It will be our endeavour as a family to take this debate to ever higher levels. 

I once again thank the esteemed judges, Luv n Parimal for the time and support. 
Also thank you to the School Management ,Alex sir and Olive Mam and the students for the help and coordination to make this a success.

The primary and higher secondary sections celebrated this special day showing their gratitude and love for their teachers. The management and alumni/ae were present too making it so much large and fulfilling.

APX (Association of Past Xavierites) always partake in all activities and programs of the school and hosted the lunch as a mark of respect and to express gratitude towards the teachers & staff. This is an annual program and just strengthens the bond between all the pillars of the institute that is staff, students, parents, benefactors and alumni/ae. Team APX
