On February 15th, St. Xavier's College, Ahmedabad's Alumni Association (TOXA) hosted its second season of TOXA 3x3 Basketball Tournament for the current students and alumni.

The event featured 12 teams, 12 league games, and 7 knockout games played over 10 hours. The sponsor for the event was an alumnus of the college, Mr. Angadjit Singh Suri. The championship was won by ‘Science Swaggers’ led by Jayrajsinh Champavat.

Individual accolades included Suhail Shaikh as Most Valuable Player, Vishwa Panchal as Best Hooper, and Rahul for Best Defense. Dhaval Joshi won the Dunk Contest, while Jayrajsinh secured the Best Alumni Award. Winners received prizes from sponsors, including Dastarkhan, Nuutjob, and NX Health.

More than 400 sports enthusiasts from various batches, current students, friends, and family members witnessed this energizing day & night tournament.

Today a medical camp was organised at Loyola school Rerua ahead of Dhalbhumgarh . A total of 260 patients were examined and free medicines were distributed. 

The camp  was attended by Father Vinod Fernandes, Rajiv Talwar, Savak Patel, Pratim Banerjee, Iqbal Alam, Vivek Jha, Anupam Sinha, Gaurav Rungta, Ushma Dutta, Gunjan Mishal, Haren Rupani, Rahul Debuka.

A team of doctors who are present, there were Dr Joy, Dr Anand , Dr Nanda , Dr Rajnish, Dr Firoz, Dr Ajay Agarwa and Nilesh Raj.

600+ patients, 10 General Physicians, 22 Specialist (Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Gynecologists, Orthopedics, Dentistry, Physiotherapy, Oncology, Pulmonary, Ear-Nose-Throat, Pediatrics, Optometry, Psychiatry, Clinical Psychology, etc.), Live Pathology, real-time dispensation of spectacles for Myopia and Hypermetropia, universal Deworming, free dispensation of all prescription medicines, universal Blood Grouping, universal Glucometry, Diabetes detection, Hypertension detection, Oral Cancer detection, Blood Donation, linking of Super- Senior Citizens with Aayushman Bharat Old Age Health Insurance Scheme, etc. : all under one roof.

More than 100 volunteers shadowed every single patient from the Registration Desk till final disposal after giving them the medicine kits as per prescriptions.

A super-successful event, along wiith launch of TWO DOX-D'tOX events : Noise Pollution Control and E-Waste Recycling Initiatives.

St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), BCA Staff and Students, 50 in number visited Loyola Academy , Secunderabad on 24 January 2025

Rev Dr Bujjibabu SJ, PCA of Andhra and Telangana province is the Principal of the College and made all the arrangements for the Visit. While I thank Fr Bujjibabu for the same, I would like to mention that this was possible due to our networking with JAAI India South Zone.

The Loyola Alumni Association organised its 1st Annual LAA Mini Football Tournament on 19th January 2025 at Loyola School Grounds.

This six a side Tournament had four teams namely Jaguars, Panthers, Leopards and Cheetahs.
Around 60 Alumni Members Participated in the event and the Alumni Members played for their the house which they were in school.

The first round comprised of League Matches and after which the Semi Finals and Finals were played. 

The Finals were won by the *Jaguars House* under the captainship of *Mr. Rohit John*. The *Panthers House* came Runner Up under the captainship of *Mr. Misbah Khan.* The *Leopards House* came as 1st Runner Up.

The *Player of the Tournament* was awarded to *Mr. Vikhyat Sinha.*

The TEXAS Alumni Nite 2025 was a resounding success, bringing together alumni  members, and friends for an unforgettable evening of camaraderie, nostalgia, and celebration.

Held on 16th Jan 2024 at St Xaviers' School, the event featured a packed program of  music, delicious food, and inspirational speech by Fr John Ravi SJ. JAAI Advisory & Fr Sudhir Bhatia SJ.Chairman

 The evening also saw the recognition of Past Presidents for their outstanding  achievements and contributions to the community and Alma Mater & Texas

The TEXAS Alumni Nite 2025 was a testament to the strong bonds and lifelong connections forged during our time at the School. It was a night to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and reminisce about fond memories.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all attendees & Members for making this event possible. We look forward to seeing you all again at future alumni event.
