On Thursday, April 29th, 2023, Sahibganj Old Xaverians Association (SOXA) conducted a dental camp for students of Class X at St. Xavier's School, Sahibganj with the objective of raising awareness about dental hygiene and educating the students about the importance of maintaining good oral health. The dental camp was conducted by three highly experienced alumni and qualified dentists - Dr. Manikant Mani, Dr. Aman Kumar, and Dr. Raman Kumar Chowdhury, along with a team of trained dental hygienists who provided dental check-ups, cleaning, and oral health education to the students.

During the camp, the students underwent a thorough dental check-up and received necessary treatment and advice on oral hygiene.

Rev. Fr. Arul Doss SJ, the President of SOXA, expressed his satisfaction with the students' interest and enthusiasm in learning about oral health. He emphasized the importance of raising awareness about maintaining good oral hygiene from a young age and appreciated the positive impact of the dental camp.

The school management and students highly appreciated the dental camp, and SOXA aims to continue its various social and educational initiatives in the Sahibganj, including promoting good oral health and preventing oral issues through such camps. For those students identified with oral issues during the camp, SOXA's team of doctors will contact their parents individually to address their concerns, and they are always available to provide necessary care and address any other concerns related to oral health.
