Award Categories (2020-23)
1. Social Initiative and Impact
Eligibility
Alumni Association should be a registered with JAAI. The activity should be an activity that benefits any deprived section of the society. The activity may be to provide temporary or on-going relief to the beneficiaries. The beneficiaries should be local and should have benefitted in a quantifiable manner with clear definition of benefit not limited to dole, funds or loans. Activities should have been carried out under the banner of the association.
1.1 Social Champion Award (Association)
Description
Awarded to Association having undertaken an activity impacting the society. The activity should have been undertaken by the Association on a stand-alone basis without any support (financial, logistic or otherwise) from any other organization except its alma mater. Joint applications can be made if more than one alumni association collaborated for a single cause.
2. Alumnae for Institute Awards
Eligibility
Alumni Association should be a registered with JAAI. The project should have been executed such that the alumni / association should have played a key and indispensable role in the execution of the project for the benefit of the students / institutions in a direct or indirect manner. The acknowledgement of the Principal or Head of the Institution is required as well as demonstrable success should be submitted with enough evidence.
2.1 Evolving Education Award (Alumni / Association)
Description
Awarded to Alumni/Association who have contributed in executing one or more sustainable initiatives in their institutes that has enabled the institute to impart education of the 21st century. The ultimate beneficiary should be the students of the institute.
2.2 Landmark Legacy Award (Association)
Description
Awarded to Association whose one-time contribution has benefited the students of the institutes in a direct or indirect manner. The applicant for the award should be able to prove the direct or indirect success by the contribution and that how the association was critical and indispensable to the initiative.
2.3 Glory to Alma Mater Award (Alumni / Association)
Description
Awarded to Alumni / Association instrumental in bringing the institute or its initiative in limelight of the media in a positive manner. Quantum of Good, positive and beneficial publicity in public media and social platforms would demonstrate success and provide a measure to compare the applications.
3. Strengthening JAAI Network
Eligibility
Alumni Association should be a registered with JAAI. The activities should benefit in establishing synergy and strengthening the Jesuit Alumni network. The acknowledgement of the Principal or Head of the Institutions and the Province Coordinator for Alumni (PCA) is required with enough evidence.
3.1 Success in Synergy Award (Association)
Description
Awarded to two or more Associations who have come together to conduct an event or an initiative. Thus, establishing cooperation and synergy. The more the number of associations, the higher shall be the weightage.
3.2 Supporting Spirit Award (Association)
Description
Awarded to Association instrumental in having extended support to other associations in terms of time effort or money to enable the recipient associations to grow.
3.3 Power Province Award (Association)
Description
Awarded to Province that has seen the most Inter-Alumni / Inter-Association activities and meetings.
3.4 Congress Champion Province (Association)
Description
Awarded to the province (other than the host) that has the maximum registrations during the JAAI National Congress on the basis of maximum man-miles travelled with the details provided by the Organizing Committee after closing of registration desk for the National Congress.
