Vincentians Raise 2.50 Lakhs
Not even a month has passed since it was brought to the notice of Vincentians (past students of St.Vincents High School Pune), that the brother of an past Teacher of St.Vincents, required to undergo urgent surgery to save his life.
As always, checks (investigation) were done and contact made with the teacher, a past student who knows the teacher, her brother & his medical history was confirmed.
After confirming the shortfall of funds for his treatment, it was decided to connect with our Vincentian Family to step in.
Richard Fernandes (batch of 1978) spear-headed the fund raising effort and we reached the targetted Rs.2.5 Lakh.So we announce a HARD STOP to the fund collection effort.
Surgery was successfully conducted and Keith is recovering.
We thank all the contributors and we also thank those praying for Keith. We request for continued prayers for his complete recovery post surgery.
God bless you all.
Vincenti Dabitur !
Special Note from Raymond :-
One of Richard's batchmates, who was hospitalised in Pune in serious condition, and when he heard of Keith's need, he immediately donated a fairly large sum. My personal request is that we join Richard & his batchmates upholding this gem of a guy - Makarand Lele - in our prayers, that God in His mercy & goodness - intervene and heal him completely.
[Thank you Mrs.Sushama Saldanha (past Vincentian Teacher) & Denni J. K (Vincentian who lives in Kerala & close to the Teacher & her family) for their concern and assist to trigger off this humanitarian effort]
