Vr. P.K.Thiyagarajan for taking over as the president of St.Joseph’s College Hr. Sec. School’s Alumni Association.

We congratulate Vr. P.K.Thiyagarajan for taking over as the president of the 179 year old St.Joseph’s College Hr. Sec. School’s alumni association. Vr.P.K.Thiagarajan is the all India president of the Institution of Valuers (IOV) which has more than 30,000 professionals specializing in the domain of valuation. Vr.P.K.Thiagarajan is an illustrious Jesuit alumnus from St.Joseph’s College Hr. Sec. School and St.Joseph’s College, Tiruchirapalli. The Government of India is also initiating steps for Institute of Valuers to become a statutory professional body under act of parliament. After the introduction the Insolvency Bankruptcy Code 2016 valuation has become a bed rock of any corporate insolvency resolution to unlock the stressed-assets enabling India to climb-up in the world index of ease of doing business.

Prof. Dr. Aswath Damodaran is an illustrious alumnus from Loyola College Chennai. He is the Professor of Finance of Stern University New York. Prof.Dr. Aswath Damodaran is considered be world renowned guru in corporate finance and valuation, who has written many books in the domain of valuation. Thanks to the good offices of Vr.P.K.Thiagarajan, President of Indian Institution of Valuers (IOV) and an illustrious alumnus of St.Joseph’s College Hr.Secondary Schooland St.Joseph’s College,Trichy  had an opportunity to meet and facilitate Dr. Aswath Damodaran on behalf of Jesuit Alumni Associations of India (JAAI). APX celebrates the 74th Republic Day

APX celebrates the 74th Republic Day by being part of the unfurling of the Flag on the St Xavier's High School Loyola Hall grounds in the morning followed by the Annual Cricket match VS HLCC Alumni, this time HLCC Alumni hosting us on their grounds. Refreshments before the game and lunch after is an opportunity for the alumnus of two premier institutes to meet and catch up, bond & network and cheer their teams and participate in the game as well. The HLCC alumni won the match and it was a wonderful celebration of this important day.

APX takes pride in being part of all the ALMA activities and programs and along with the management and staff, students, parents & benefactors are an integral part and an important pillar too.

Wishing everyone a Happy Republic Day & greetings on VASANT PANCHAMI which falls on the same date this year.

JAAI meets Chairman of Society for Training and Development

S.Chenthilkumar President JAAI and Pradeep Kumar-WUJA representative met with Dr.K.C.C.Nair Chairman, Indian Society for Training and Development-Trivandran Chapter to explore industry academia-tie ups and visiting faculty support and mentoring.

Dr.K.C.C.Nair is considered to be the father of Start-ups in Kerala and one of the founders of Techno Park Kerala.
