Th committee of Loyola High School Alumni Association (LESA) 2019-21 had approved a project to improve and digitalise our school labs .Covid induced time delays sadly delayed this project .
Towards the end of the committee's tenure one of LESA's wellwisher Mr. Leo Pereira from L& L builders ( who has always helped LESA in it's projects) helped us to fulfill our vision to modernise and upgrade the science laboratory and meet high standards.
We had a meeting with Fr Jimmy and decided that the labs had an urgent need for
- 10 microscopes.
- 1 high end microscope for the teachers who could update their Pcs / laptops with data .
- 3 desk top computers with UPs
Mr. Leo Pereira volunteered to sponsor those items. Today Mr Leo's son Mr. Ribeck Pereira handed over the items .
Our old commitee 2019-21 and present commitee 21-23 were present. Fr Willy SJ graced the occasion and Fr Jimmy SJ presided over the event.
Today 22- sept- 20 , the Loyola Ex Students Association joined hands with the Rotary Club Margao Midtown for a blood donation drive at the Clube Harmonia de Margao
It was heartening to note that 42 donors braved the rains , covid and donated blood
Our two young Loyola Jesuit Priests Fr Jimmy and Fr. Orville donated as well
A special mention to our ex- student and blood doner Mr Ubaldino(tudor) Dias, who has donated over 70 times.
Great community service Tudor and all other donors.
On behalf of our committee,

WHAT THE STUDENTS HAD TO SAY
First of all, I would like to thank the organizers LESA for giving us this wonderful opportunity. Secondly, I would like to thank our Resource person Mr. Jesus Ribeiro, who enlightened us through his amazing and interesting three days session. He was very friendly, humorous and informative. I enjoyed these three day sessions which were very resourceful to me. I appreciate the efforts of LESA and hope they continue such resourceful camps. - Eric Pereira
