For the first time in its 144-year history, St Aloysius College hosted an exciting treasure hunt exclusively for its alumni on Sunday, January 5, 2025. Organized under the banner of the St Aloysius College Alumni Association (SAACA), the event brought together alumni from various generations, fostering camaraderie and nostalgia.
The event was inaugurated by Fr Melwin Pinto, Rector of St Aloysius College, who flagged off the first car at 8:00 AM. The event was convened by Sumith S. Rao, with the support of Anil Kumar J., President of SAACA..
A total of about 20 teams, each comprising four members, participated with great enthusiasm. The event featured participants from diverse age groups, including children as young as four and a spirited 84-year-old alumnus, Mr. Winston. Families and individuals joined hands for this fun-filled and intellectually stimulating challenge, making it a day to remember for everyone involved.

St Aloysius (Deemed to Be University) organised an Endowment Lecture on Role of Education in National Development on 14th September 2024 at Fr L F Rasquinha Hall, LCRI Block by Prof Anil Sahasrabuddhe, Former Chairman of AICTE, Chairman (NETF).
The speaker delivered profound insights and illuminated the crucial ways in which education shapes the future of our nation. As education is the powerful weapon in nation building, he suggested implementing several best practices in the institutions.
Prof. Anil Sahasrabuddhe was honoured with a special felicitation to recognize his significant contributions to education and national development.
The School of Commerce, Finance, and Accountancy at St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) hosted the Triumph and Tenacity program on 3rd September, 2024 to celebrate student achievements in academics and sports.
Chief guest K. V. Kamath, Padma Bhushan awardee and chairman of the National Bank of Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID), a distinguished alumnus of the University shared insights from his extensive banking experience, emphasizing perseverance and innovative thinking.
